Conducted by Wyzowl, these interesting statistics were gathered by surveying 230 unique respondents consisting of both marketing professionals and online consumers. Their report looks at typical users, spending, applications and return on investment.
In summary they find that video usage continues to accelerate at a phenomenal rate despite a number of businesses (39%) not yet adding it to their marketing strategy. Video continues to perform well against a range of key metrics (increased engagement, accessibility, higher conversions and sales, great return on investment etc.) and its a proven versatility marketing tool that can be successful across a variety of different channels.
